What is Hydro-Graphic Printing?
The Process
Hydro-graphic printing, also referred to as Water-Transfer Printing, is the art of transferring an image onto a desired object by way of water pressure. To summarize: An object passes through a floating ink-bath resulting in a selected film pattern’s adherence to the object’s surface. Once cleaned, a matte or gloss finish is applied, and the process is complete!
The Surface
Film patterns may be applied to metal, glass, wood, or plastic items. Generally, this process will transfer a decorative pattern to any immersable object.
The Pattern
Many film patterns are immediately available. In addition, we readily accept requests for customized prints. Uniquely patterned as well as basic printed samples are available for comparison.
